Mijieli Horse

For my kaupapa i have been focuing on is pacific style (patterns), enviroment and animals my main ideas for my portfolio. Taking little things from each theme and putting into one work to express a different side of things. For example i have been working in class for the pass few weeks on print making, curved and laserd out horses. Using different art form to visualize the horse in different scene of art work. In the images below would demonstrate meaning. Of what i am trying to say through my art works.
In my first series of art work i had draw the out of the horse, of what it supposed to look like the body and position. Then i rewrote the same position horse again on the other side of the page, with a bit more features and details. I did that four time to as you can see in the image, until it show it's finish layout. Looking at different stages of drawing the horse.
Second Piece of art work was laser cutting the horse out in the laser cutter meachine. While aslo layering it out with a layer of inc, for me to make a dark ocean colour base background with the horse standing out in the middle.

climate changes- science.

What are the greenhouse effects?
solar radiation passes through the atmosphere, some of the radiation reflected cause of the atmosphere then hits the earth's surface. The earth is like solar panels, absorbing the radiation [surface]. heats the earth's surface making it warmer, greenhouse gases reflect some of the infrared radiation back to the earth. If the earth didn't have an atmosphere, the normal rate temperature would be 18 degrees and worse in the night time -160 degrees.

Effects of global warming
rising temperature is unfortunately not a benefit for us, doesn't mean we will get nicer weather. The changing climate would make our weather more extreme and unpredictable to navigate. Due to climate change, some areas would become hotter, animals and humans might not be able to adapt to the change.
disease- higher temperature and rainfall may mean tropical pests and diseases are able to survive and breed in New Zealand.
weather patterns- global warming may lead to dramatic changes in regional and seasonal weather patterns. others sea-level rise, rainfall, and agriculture.

What is the solution to climate change?

Responding to this life crisis [climate changes]. There are two possible solutions to our problem, reducing and stabilizing the levels of hat-trapping. greenhouse gases in the atmosphere [mitigation] and adapting to the climate changes already pipeline [adaption].

essay- social studies.

The Treaty of Waitangi, moari translation [ Te Tiri o waitangi], it was signed on 6 of February 1840.  The moari and European came together and forge a treaty, leading to wars and protection [muskets]. The whalers aka missionaries aspect to ensure to defend moari rights. Musket wars were one of the reasons why, they came to an agreement to con crust the treaty of waitangi. The declaration of independence was a main key point factorizing why they needed a treaty in the first place. Including to establish British governor throughout the land. Copies were subsequently gifted around the new Zealand continent, over the several months many of the chief signed. 540 signed it and given their agreement opinion. This is

If we didn't constructed the treaty of waitangi the lawless would worsen everything single day until nothing left. Before we entered an agreement we consisted of independence, small tribes with small European settlement. The first European settlement occur, at the seaport in new Zealand. They were founded for their bad reputation with no laws and increased racial tensions, what so ever. They brothels, grog shop acting as a servant to attend the whalers and sailors needs. Known as the hellhole of the pacific, the musket became an important item the had caught their interest. Wars will break out moari and European, whalers and seamen. British became so popular of their there trading, 1000 people had to be out at shore.

No laws to bind them all, unfair trading continuously to happen whalers and sealers. The would claim moari land and European good significantly considering at a low price. The settlers were using their freedom because there were no laws to prevent them from doing it. As the settlement increase the British investment also increase, but the governor felt responsible to her people. This came to inventing the treaty of waitangi, moari signing it solution to their problem [lawless].
Including some the European, who were land buyers.

It was said if they stated British governorship in new Zealand. Moari will have ownership to the land, properties and its surrounding, Giving right to British civilian. It was thought by the British crown that when, the lieutenant governor Williams Robson. Have recently made the declaration of British society over new Zealand, date of the time they had confirmed on may 1840. Moari people would not have thought that their rights have been thrown to the side and forgotten about. Once they have sorted it out and translated for the moari to understand [signification]. Send it to the north first, the leader and chiefs there signed it.

530-540 chief signed the treaty of waitangi, maybe 13 of them woman's. Even do some chief went against the signing and caution about it, it still work out in the end. An immediate reaction to the treaty signing was queen Victoria government. Gain the sole authority to purchase lands, in the total finalized copies were 9 in fact including the copies in the street. Some miscommunication happen while trying to translate the English version into moari. For example the word society was translated into kawatanga [governor]. believed that they were giving up government over the land taming the right to manage their affairs.

Musket wars lead to many killings that affected the population. The moari people changed, there were trades that were also affected by this. There were a lot of fought throughout new Zealand (3000). Among moari between 1807- 1837, when the musket were shown into new Zealand. Moari people were trading off their corps, lands and resources. Engaging in an arms race with the other tribe, trying to gain territory and seeking revenge from the past defeats. The battle cause 20000-40000 death people sacrificing their lives in this. People enslave thousand of moari, the war were seen as fatal impact of indigenous contact with European. Many more were enslaved or became refugees, musket turned the way of inter tribal warfare. The price started to increase, plus the European disease taking hit. Some relationships started to grow, becoming good rivals. Treaty could prevent all that slaughtered and war, not only benefiting themselves but others also. Leading to stronger and powerful alleys upgrading the country protection [community].

King William united kingdom was seeking an alliance and protection from other power. Its was used for moari people to trades with other countries. James busby took the next step, booking a gathering, called at waitangi. At the end of the meeting 34 rangatira signed the agreement he whakaputanga o te rangatiratanga o nu tireni. Translated in English [declaration of independence of the united tribes of new [Zealand]. The Declaration of Independence did more than saying colonies freedom, wanted to explain what kind of freedom. It listed all the bad things that the king had done to the colonies, trying to say the they also have rights. Feeling that is was worth fighting for. This is similar to moari rights on the treaty, them fighting for what they truly believe in. declaration was the raising of the treaty. It started from the independence leading on to waitangi, it seem more. Reasoning for why shouldn't stop there and go on further. Assume people wanted more that lead on to muskets war, settlers and whalers. It couldn’t have stopped there, more power to gain absorbing more money [weather]. Controlling more parts of the earth, but it really depends on their point of view what are they trying to accomplish here. Is this going to benefit on their behalf [who knows] .

The treaty was needed for all the political reasons. British wanted governor over new Zealand, moari obtaining land and substances. Europeans, protection, rights and depth information. That was caused to coexist with these laws and rules. For the past history the treaty made a huge conflict in new Zealand. People making better choices and fair trades and people actually getting what their sign for. Making new Zealand stronger and better as today.

Essay planning continued.

Tuesday 3th September 2019.
Body 1
The incident of when Zelie found Amari in Lagos and helped her escape from her father grasp and with the scroll, helped me to understand the idea of the loyalty between friends and family. Because there nothing stronger then the bond for each other, we see this in the text when. Amari begs Zelie for help asking her to "get me out of here" If the guards get her she good as died.

Body 2- The incident of
The incident of Amari asking Zelie for help, Helped me to understand the important idea of loyalty between friends and family.Them meeting up show that no good people Could change even though they have cause a lot of suffering. changing their ways because they know it's, not the right way to do things. One point in people life you are going to need a helping hand in a rough spot. people you love and trust will always have your back, maybe it could save your life. Never judge people for their past history, not giving them and chance. To show Their intention and what they are trying to do. We see this in the text when "as it fades, I see the Truth- in plain sight, yet hidden all along. We are all children's blood and bones. All instruments of vengeance and virtue. This truth holds me close, rocking me like a child in a mother's arms. It binds me in it's loves as swallow me in it's grasp. Good heart don't leave scares like that. A person with a good heart never leaves, a person in need to suffer. Just like how Zelie give a helping hand.  please," she begs,"you have to get me out of here. Please help me! i have done something unforgivable. If they catch me i will be screw.

Pyramids of Egypt.

Beginning of the Dynastic Era [2950 B.C], The royals carved into the rocks surface then covered.
With flat-roofed, The structure of the pyramids was a rectangular. Precursor to the pyramids.
We believe that the egyptain pyramids, were were made for the pharaohs and their families [tombs]. The royal were only people that was only allowed to be buried there. 130 pyramids were found in Egypt. The first Egyptian pyramids, happens to be the pyramid of Djoser. the thirds dynasty king, It was created in saqqara around about 4650 years ago [2640 BC].

Its was built moving big rocks from the quarry and dragging, putting them into place where they fit in. Making it easier for them to drag the huge stone across the sand, They had used water to wet the sand so it can slide. Instead of the sand gathering up making more defeat and nothing could get done.  There is more the one charmers in the great pyramids. The lower was divided into bedrocks upon which the pyramids was built and it's was still unfinished.
Tools- linen, sawdust, lichen, beeswax, resin, nation, onion, and Nile mud.

Only the powerful pharaohs, ruler can only command such a task. For modern time like ours, it may seem to nearly impossible to re-create. What they have done from such long time ago. during the time of the flood when god renew the world from all the sins that we had carry on. The Egyptians people, was the first one to believe in the afterlife. They also believed that every human being obtains what is called ka. Even though their physical body disappear out of this world your Ka would live on for eternity.

This is one of the seven wonder of our world. The 21st century people trying to discovered the ways that they had done things. How could people that lacks equipment including forklifts, bulldozers, and onward. Had the upper body strength to move those large stone. Properly back in the days human were stronger and bigger, they also lived longer then us.

critical Analysed

What kind of social realities.
-suicide
-art
-school
-teenager
-boy
He could have committed suicide for whatever reasons, willing to take it anymore how things were. What did he even do at school, did he every consider what would happens for his disappearance. was he a boy that likes to make different selection of art, that inspire people and bring light to their day. A teenager and human being just wanting to live hes days out properly but that wasn't the case "huh". What even made wanted to throw life away like a whim. This really caught her attention wanting to find out, knowing more about his background. What ever could she do.

How does the text constructed a version of reality.
Mel's version has different -------- of ways. Not knowing what even happens did he actually died of just playing a sort of game tricking everyone. Moves homes due to money problems, he became a farmer cause that was his life goals. Or just not wanting to attend school for some reasons and ran away from home. These could be side of story that could be drifting on her mind.

The one thing that keeps of floating on my mind his death, if it was true or not. but why, how what triggered his hand mind to such lengths. Coming in the way that she could doing living with her own life not worrying about his, just move on. Mel's goes around school ask people about him, collecting in-tell  and all making everything more clear for her. Its never good to keep of thinking about things that could screw things for your well-being.

What are reals in the text.
From what i think that could be real the film are the police officer, Tracy and the principal. Caused they are too indelicate to be a single person or imagination. They have up hold they questions that sometime consumes Mel's for what she wanted to know.

But for the course they could be her different personalities or something just talking to herself acting like their real people. Or they are just her class mates and i am just over thinking things. Something that could or could not, is the boys death. Mel's had couldn't remember his and no connection nothing it could all be playing in her head.
